I think I have too many things cooking all at once. I work on each of them a little at a time and feel like I'm getting nowhere.
But I am getting somewhere. At least a little. I finished the back of Ali's sweater last weekend and started on the front.
And I'm almost done with the back of my blue sweater; I'm about halfway through the raglan decreases.
It's so very narrow because the rib is all scrunched up. When it's stretched out properly it's much bigger. Trust me, I'm not that skinny.
Today I went out and bought the rest of the yarn I need to make the Sitcom Chic sweater. I knit so slowly that I really should work on things about two seasons ahead of time (meaning I should be knitting for the fall now) but I'm tired of heavy sweaters. I need something summer-y and fresh, and the SC cardigan fits the bill. I'm trying to force myself to finish at least one of my currect WIP before starting on it. Let's see how long I can hold out.
I also bought some Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool at JoAnn's. I'm going to try my hand at dying it to make the felted My Constant Companion bag from The Knitter's Stash. Anyone have tips on dying wool?
