The latest photo from my house-hunting friend, who has some advice for people putting their houses on the market:

"Be sure to use creepy dolls as the focal point of your living room.  It will detract attention from the horrendo hand-me down LazyBoy and clearance-bin ceiling border."

One of the many cool things about the company Gary works for now is that they're kind of proactive when it comes to being healthy.

Someone emailed me to let me know that Club Mom is looking for Mommy bloggers. That's me, all right, and Lord knows we could use the extra income, but I'm not sure if I have an angle or spin that makes me different from everyone else. I feel so average.

Looky here! Wicked is coming to Playhouse Square in Cleveland. I've never even read the novel, but friends who know of my extreme fondness for the Wizard of Oz (my entire dorm room was decorated with WoO in college) have been e-mailing me to tell me I should go see it. It's coming in the summer, so maybe, just maybe, it would be a nice birthday/anniversary gift?

I'm trying to drum up some web design business; I'd really like to break into the local market and do sites for local businesses. I've found several local business sites that are just so sad-looking, like something an 8 year old learning HTML would do. What I'd like to do is work up a sample design for them, then send them a printout of it along with a letter including a link to where they could view a screenshot online, in a letter. I'm having a terrible time trying to figure out how to word the first part of the letter. Is there a nice way to say, "Your web design is really bad, would you like some help?" without actually saying it?

I can hardly believe it myself, that Ginger Belle turned 18 months old yesterday. To celebrate, she had several shots of amoxicillin and put on a mouse nose.

. . . . and Ginger has an ear infection. Which sucks, but now we can treat it. And it completely explains why she's been so crabby and inconsolable for the past three days, totally freaking out over everything and not wanting to do anything. Gah.
